Ritz Camera Center Inc. is closing four of its Houston-area photo stores and more than 300 nationwide and is holding liquidation sales as part of its reorganization efforts under Chapter 11 protection.
The area stores to be closed by the Beltsville, Md.-based camera retailer are:

Wolf Camera, 5161 San Felipe, Suite 180, Houston
Wolf Camera, 5706 Highway 6, Missouri City
Ritz Camera, 11691 Westheimer Rd., Suite 130, Houston
Ritz filed for Chapter 11 protection Feb. 22 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Del.
In late March it won court approval of rules governing the sale of store assets. Ritz said it will have about 400 stores left after the shutdown.
